@SubstanceTheGame The community would probably be your biggest issue, because the majority of players are…teenage jerks or hardcore players who don’t tend to socialize unless it’s with other hardcore players. Joining an RP server significantly increases the amount of friendly people and whether you play Alliance or Horde has an effect, too. As for the game itself, I would suggest you try out a free server first, because it’s a lot of money to blow on something you may drop after a few weeks.

I really like the look of WoW and have been putting off buying it for a long time because I’m not sure how the community is or whether a new player can actually build their way up successfully because it’s been out so long. Does anyone have any advice on whether it’s worth getting etcetera?
